As we usher in the new year at the end of this week, we will say goodbye to another wonderful Christmas season. I thought I would take this opportunity to look back at one of our favorite activities this time of year - the Weaverville Christmas Parade in Weaverville, North Carolina.
Andy (my husband) and I have helped design and build the floats for Flat Creek Baptist Church. It is a way that we can be creative together, make something fun for the kids to ride on and often win a trophy. If there were parades all year round, we just might make this a full-time job!
Here is a look back at many of the designs:

If you haven't been to your town's local Christmas parade, make sure to go next year to celebrate Christmas, check out the float designs and see the smiling kid faces!
Happy New Year!
